1. Acceptance and eligibility

By using the site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 to create an account. If you do not agree, do not use account or community features.

2. Accounts

• Provide accurate information and keep access credentials secure.
• Use one account per person unless Beirut Politics authorizes otherwise.
• Reader accounts are activated after email verification; writer and administrative roles require manual approval.
• We may restrict or suspend accounts that breach these Terms or threaten the service or community.

3. User contributions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Beirut Politics a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, format and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service. You confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate another person’s rights.

• Private messages remain intended for their participants but may be reviewed when reported or required for safety, security or law.
• Deleting an account may not remove published editorial work, quoted forum material, moderation records or legally required records.

4. Prohibited conduct

• Illegal, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, defamatory or deliberately deceptive content.
• Impersonation, coordinated manipulation, spam, doxxing or publication of private information.
• Malware, credential theft, scraping that degrades the service or attempts to bypass access controls.
• Copyright infringement or commercial reuse of Beirut Politics material without permission.

5. Editorial material and corrections

News, analysis and programs are provided for general information and do not constitute legal, financial or medical advice. We aim for accuracy and handle correction requests under our Editorial Standards and Corrections Policy. Analysis, opinion and sponsored content are labeled separately where applicable.

6. Intellectual property

The Beirut Politics name, logo, original design, videos, articles and other newsroom material are protected by applicable rights. You may share links and brief excerpts with attribution. Reproduction, republication, automated commercial use or removal of credits requires written permission.

7. Third-party services and availability

Links and embeds may lead to third-party services with separate terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent availability of any item or that every external statement is accurate. We may change, suspend or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.

8. Responsibility, law and contact

To the extent permitted by law, Beirut Politics is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without limiting mandatory rights that apply to you. Questions may be sent to info@beirut-politics.com.
